This is the astounding moment a fuming BMW driver cuts up a coach entering the motorway after the bus refused to let him pass when space was getting tight.
Running out of road the car has to grind to halt as the coach declines to let up near Newcastle.
In a raging response the motorist then dangerously overtakes forcing the bus driver to slam on the brakes.
Road rage: A BMW driver starts to get frustrated unable to pass a white coach entering a motorway
A video from a vehicle in front shows the BMW is clearly at fault for the latter manoeuvre, but commenters on the internet are split over whose behaviour is worse.
The video was posted to the Road Respect YouTube page, before being shared on Facebook by Idiot UK Drivers Exposed.
The clip is broken up by text explaining the situation, reading ‘BMW driver rapidly running out of space…
‘If you thought that was bad… wait till you see this,’ it adds when the car nearly causes a pile up.
On Facebook HIggs Rally Historic wrote: ‘Why should the coach driver slow down or give space? Just because a k*** in a BMW wants to gain 5 yards. It’s your responsibility to make sure the road ahead is clear before an overtake, quite clearly the road was narrowing.’
Yet coach driver Mark Hills posted: ‘I would probably of slowed down and let the brain dead idiot in the BMW get passed. We see this thing all the time. Best to let them get away from you then put your passengers and yourself in danger.’
Running out of road: The bus refuses to slow down and let the car past meaning the BMW nearly crashes
Squeezed out: The motorist in the car runs out of road and is forced to grind to a screeching halt
Shocking: The white coach trundles on down towards the motorway leaving the car behind in its wake
Revenge: But the angry BMW is not finished and speeds up to overtake the bus and exact ‘revenge’
Who is in the wrong? The BMW then shockingly cuts up the coach, and commenters online are divided over who is most at fault
Michael Hawkes-Southern was far less sympathetic: ‘Anybody who blames any driver in that scenario other than the berk in the Beemer, needs to return their license to Kellogg’s, where they got it in the first place.’
While Richard Marshall responded: ‘Usual BMW driver but the Bus driver could have just let him in and got on with his day in peace…chill out people, life’s too short!’
The incident is believed to have occurred at the end of last year going by the date on the dashcam.
