WATCH: Surveillance cam catches trio burglarizing cars in Clark – NJ.com

CLARK — Clark Police are sharing a surveillance video to help identify the three people who they say were involved in numerous car burglaries on the morning of May 1.

The video shows the trio in a gray sedan pull up in front of the home on Wheatsheaf Road, before taking items from several unlocked cars in the driveway.

Clark Police Chief Pedro Matos said 14 unlocked cars located on Thomas Drive, Wheatsheaf Road and Grove Street were burglarized that morning, beginning at 4:30 a.m.

“Very few personal items were taken,” Matos said. “It’s possible the suspects were looking for car keys that might have been left in the cars to steal the cars.”

So far this year, Clark police have responded to 28 motor vehicle burglaries, mainly to unlocked vehicles, the department said on Facebook.
